Michael McKimm reads "Fledgling" Pam Thompson reads "The Talking Cure" Will Smith reads "Worse Things Happen at Sea"
With the help of volunteers, the airy, light-filled atrium of the Angear Visitors Centre at Lakeside on the University of Nottingham campus was transformed for an evening into an intimate and comfortable space in which to listen to poetry. Over 70 people--community members, university students, writers, and readers--attended and heard Will Smith, Pam Thompson, and Michael McKimm read for 40 minutes, then enjoyed a selection of cakes and beverages.
